Yesterday we went to the Muckleburgh Military Collection and we were both impressed by the range of exhibits and the information avaiable. We are so spoilt these days when a WW2 11.5 ton artillery towing tractor only had 89 bhp to play with! There are scrupulously clean kennels with stainless water bowls, and raised cots. We’re weren’t even charged the padlock fee. The unscheduled highlight though was when we were sitting outside at the cafe and a USAF special operations V22 came in and landed in front of us then swept off almost immediately.

Offshore there are large wind farms and the undersea cables come ashore at the site, then they are going underground for 30 miles to the end substation. No wonder electric prices aren’t reducing !

It is nice to hear about places to visit that have kennels to allow people to drop their dogs into, during your visit. I have been to a couple of caravan sites that have had day kennels on site, which has been nice.
