Started caravanning last august after being bit by the bug visiting my dad a number of times in his motorhome. WE LOVE IT!!!!. current outfit is a 2004 vectra sri turbo (petrol) and a 95 fleetwood colchester. LOve the look tho of the new bailey ranger 4 berth with the fixed bed so hopefully for next year we will be touring in that. Dont want to droan on so who knows we may be neighbours soon, all the best evertone and happy caravanning!

Yes welcome Ian, have a look round the forum, there is some great advice to be found. If your unsure about anything please ask as we have a great Technical Forum and the Chit Chat room is always open.

Lolly, is it coincidence that you're our head meet and greeter and now you have a job doing the same thing at a golf course?

Ian and Rach it is great to have you on board.

Does your van have those nice dayglow yellow and green reflective bits so all us other campers know where to come to get thumbs hit with awning peg hammer and those bumps from awning poles sorted ;-)

If you could put a list on of your planned camping times and sites and pack the old defribulator unit a few of the older members might sleep easier in their vans and you'll never go short for a glass of Sonatogen on site :-0

ohh err misses

Easter suddenly looks a LOT more interesting.

But Sorry Lolly, there is a queue. I am sure Joanne wants to see if it will make me sink in the river. I am driving her mad at the moment!

Ian, at least on here you'll soon realise that caravanners are not all staid old fogeys with nothing much going on in their lives or up top!

Lord B is around somewhere and he's a retired paramedic, the job did strange things to his dress sense it seems. But with the caring caravanning society here he has become a valued silver surfer and a man of the people again!

We keep hoping he'll throw the odd groat our way and offer free camping on his estates. Years of service to people in need of medical assistance yet despite encouragement he has not seen fit to offer free fully serviced sites for those in need of liquid medicinal refreshment!

Enjoy.

His Lordship may kindly respond if his busy social diary permits ;-)

Heyyyy I saw that cris, silver surfer indeed, you cheeky sod. I haven't reached that yet although I've been asked twice if I use Grecian 2000. Gawd I'm not that vain about my regal bearing to use that stuff.

By the way, welcome Ian and Rachel. I dont know if you noticed cris's remarks about the job doing strange things to my dress sense, now thats fine coming from a recycled hippy. :O)

Notice I am up late due to, as cris says, a very busy dairy and those milkmaids take some keeping in order. Time for my Viagra and Horlicks now, I just passed Her Ladyship on the landing on the way from the bathroom with her teeth in a jar. She still looks becoming though in her Winceyette nightgown and showing her ample bosoms. Toodle Pips all.

Well I never learnt much about reverence.

But Lord B proves you never lose that care training from the job.

Looking after the dairy maids at midnight, truly a rare level of employee relations in the world these days.

Nothing like old school ways ;-)

hi lord b and yes i do. My rota is a mixture of two days two nights, then three days two nights and then two days three nights, all gets very complicated at times! Cant grumble at time off tho which is really good, but as you know for the four/five days at work thats all you do, work eat then sleep. I am actually a paramedic support officer driving round in a fast response car, which incidentally on my service is the astra estate 150 bhp cdti, which i have to day is quite a quick bit of kit, regards ian.
