Has anybody looked at the new Mondeo. I did today and was suprised by the low kerb weight. Even the top of the range diesel estate had a maximum kerb weight of just 1600 kilos. This seems very low for such a big car, please be aware.
 
Agree, but when you look at the max towing limit and gross train weight the new Mondeo looks to have graet potential. It uses the same powertrain as the heavier S-max and the 6 speed auto gaerbox has a very good max tow weight which makes Citroen's C4 Picasso look puny by comparison.
