New tax rates

I've just been looking at the new yearly road tax for cars registered after April 2010.

From what I gather it's going to vitually double the road tax on most towcars.

Thing is if you bought the same car in March you'll be paying apprecialbly less per year than if you bought it now.

Sorry about the previous posting.

After re-reading it's the first year new car tax.

It was written as if it were to be on a yearly basis.

Still it'll add to the initial cost unless you can negotiate.

It's also a good part of the cost of a fitted tow-bar deal.
