Welcome to the Forum Lyttlered.

The Practical Caravan Magazine , contains a few pages detailing every available layout. Subject to knowing your maximum towing weight this guide will help you choose what suits you best.
Try and look at as many used models you can to appreciate the layout differences. Take your time.

Many years ago I thought I knew what would suit us best with two kids and a dog. Big mistake, got it wrong!
Back then we found an Elddis Avante 505 double dinette layout. Brilliant. Kids at the back double at night, their play area and table day time we converted the front to a double bed.
Dog slept on the floor on her own little bed.
Good luck and please run past us what you feel may suit you and your family.

Lyttlered - when you think you've found a layoutthat will suit, find one at a dealers and sit in it on your own and imagine how you and your family would use it at each time of day - this may identify difficulties that you hadn't envisaged.

I bet there's a few like us started with a small 2 berth when kids had grown up only to keep getting bigger as grandkids came along untill they no longer come with us to going back to a 2 berth .
