Nissan Pathfinder.

I don't know what they tow like, although they should be good tugs. But I raed the book 'Long Way Down' about Euan Macgregor and Charlie Boorman's motorcycle ride fro UK to South Africa. Pathfinders were the support vehicles. In the appendices were listed the sapers carried for the bikes and those for the Pathfinders. The Pathfinder list was very short whereas the bikes was a long list. Clearly Nisan UK were very confident in Pathfinder reliabilty.

I have a mate who tows a twin axle bailey (6 berth) van with a Pathfinder and loves it; he looked at the Discovery, Shogun and Landcruisers but the Pathfinder had the best "road manners" and the MPV style extra seats he needs for a family of 6.
