Whilst on holiday last week, my wife and her father were involved in a serious road accident. They were hit, almost head on, by a wagon travelling in the opposite direction. The driver of the wagon was arrested for drink driving.
Anyway, the point i was going to make is that even though the X-trail was completely demolished down the drivers side, my wife and her father are still here to tell the tale.
The strength of the car and all the protective measures built in to it, definately saved the lives of my family. The car also stayed upright after been shunted across the carriageway and ending up facing the opposite direction.
Once the insurance claim has been settled, i will not hesitate to replace it with another.
Anyone out there thinking of buying a new tug, i would definately recommend an X-trail on it's safety ability alone.
