No internal lights after replacing battery & charger

Hi I'm new to the forum.

I have Coachman Pastiche 2013. After having no power to my van I was advised I needed a new battery and charger. I have replaced both and i am connected to the electric. I now have power to the control panel, power to my sockets but no internal lights and water pump. I have 13.6v in the battery and I have checked all the fuses and found nothing. I am now scratching my head as to what to do next. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks
 
With a 2013 caravan I would expect the charger should have been a switch mode power supply (SMPSU) these normally have an output voltage of about 13.8V and should be able to run the 12V lights and pump in the caravan without a battery even connected.

The fact that you only have 13.6V at the battery suggests there is a problem, but exactly what is really needs someone to investigate properly, something we cant do remotely.

It's worth noting there is usually a 20A fuse in the positive lead to the battery. this is in the wire and not in the fuse box.
 
Have you reset the Master control panel? The Master switch needs to be turned back on and then follow your handbook instructions to reset the interior lights and water pump. Our Hutch has a Coachman and can probably give you a more detailed explanation.
 
Thanks for your response. I've reset the master switch and still nothing. Ive checked the manual which states if the reading is over 12.7V the battery is 100% charged.

I have looked at the battery cables but don't see anything. Where should I be looking?
 
If you can trace the positive cable from the battery to the consumer unit you will probably find the 20A fuse in an inline carrier usually within the bed locker of the caravan. As you have mains and the charger is working this is the likely culprit!
 
But if the Prof is correct then the whole system should work without a battery which means the 20 amp fuse isn’t the problem? Does the OP system have individual fuses?
 
There may be two switches, one for 240v and another for the 12v as it seems the 12v is not operating? Our 2011 Lunar needed the battery in place for the 12v system to work and there was a separate switch for the 12v system.
