I am wondering if all you clued up people out there can suggest a quiet campsite (with a bar near by)that within reach of whitby heartbeat country and many more attractions.Am thinking of treating ere indoors to a tidy little break.Your ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Taffy

It may be further west than you may want to be but the CC site at Hawes is great. It is just on the edge of the village so only about a 10 minute walk to / from the pubs / restaurants / chip shop / grocery shop / bakers etc etc. It's not that far from Whitby for a day out but you are able to go in any direction from Hawes and see stunning countryside.

Hope this is of help.

Regards

Taffy,

It's 3-4 miles from the coast but the Caravan Club site at West Ayton south-west of Scarborough is really good and is well within the area that you want to see
