Noseweight of 75 kgs sufficient?

Hi to all,

I am considering a BMW 3-Series or Mercedes-Benz C-Class as my next company car, as their CO2 emissions put them in the lowest tax bracket (BIK 18%).

They fit the bill in terms of costs and kerbweight in relation to my van (MTPLM 1436) but I have a slight concern over the low noseweight offered (75 kgs on both cars).

I also love the look of the C5 but its low noseweight (73kgs saloon, 72 kgs estate) puts me off.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanking you in advance...

If you follow advice regarding proper load distribution and keep within the car manufacturer's max. towload spec, 75kg is enough for the type of caravan that you are contemplating to tow, especially if you are talking about a new car fitted with ESP+ which, from the nature of your enquiry, appears to be the case.

Many thanks Lutz. Much appreciated.
