yeah, it only kind-of works if your a 70's/60's baby like me (very LATE 60's I hasten to add!!)

I imagine in the 60's you were in your VW Combi touring the festivals surrounded by a strange-smelling smokey haze?!? was it Woodstock it was called??

Gawd, its soooo nice to look back!

Its so true - we had a mongrel dog back then, I remember space dust and bazooka bubble gum, swapshop, I had dunlop trainers, and I remember walking to school ON MY OWN at some ridiculous age in any weather! I was born in the Seventies and loved the 70's and 80's!

another cool one that is not on this list is riding your bike with only the hood of your parka over your head, the rest blowing behind you - no helmet, no lights, and generally no brakes!!

yeah, my mum walked me to school on my first day and after that I was left to my own devises - and I only remember getting a lift once, 'cos I was going on a school trip and had a suitcase! and my dad STILL moaned!! (",)

I always taped the top 40 on a sunday!...trying my best to cut out the DJ in between songs so it sounded like a professional compilation tape ;-)

Remember aswell those "top of the pops" albums you won at fun fairs?

I must stop this memory lane stuff cos I could go on forever! 🙂

And if you wanted toast you did it one slice at a time with a toasting fork (and got nice and warm at the same time). Jim.
