So we have decided to change our old 1993 Sprite 450c for a newer fixed bed 2006 Ace Jubilee Statesman 4 berth. The newer van is some 19 years old but has been well looked after and serviced so it's got everything we need in it and a massive step from the old van, it only cost £3,300 which I though was a bargain with a Powertouch mover on and a whole heap of extras.

The old van has a 2 year old remove motor mover on it and 170w solar panel it's being stored at my Dads, he doesnt like having it there and wants it away quick sticks after it being parked their only a few days.

The old van was listed on ebay for £1000 but sadly it's not sold yet even though it's in superb condition and only been recently totally refurbed inside last year, with antique white cupboards and lovely and clean.

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the best and quickest way to get rid of the old van. I'm airing on the side of removing the solar panel, taking off the mover and removing the fridge selling those as spares and then scrapping the van itself. It seems such a shame to scrap it as it's had loads of love and attention and is still good for another couple of seasons.

Facebook market place seems to be THE place to sell pretty much anything fast that's cheap. I've sold stuff on there that I'd normally throw away. I will be advertising my parents caravan on there next month.
