I can vouch for your last comment after I gave up I took on the appearance of a barrage balloon. However now on a diet (the surgeon says i have to lose 4 stone)I have lost 2 in two months.I suspect smoking in rental statics will continue to be a problem irrespective of legislation, but then nobody will enforce it on a private site anyway.

Not sure on that one! no more rental statics here, nobody to enforce it on a private site, owners maybe, if they allowed it they would get fined, to prove they smoked would be very difficult I would image?

My work involves being outside quite abit, so I have no worries there, but to give up which I don't want to and become overweight just would not suit me.

There you go see I told Colin that my comment that you were larger than life was in no way a comment about your build. He has gone very quiet do you think he has read the latest posts or is it his age where he has to have a nap in the afternoon.

Liz/Plotter this is your MD speaking - if you were to spend more time working than contributing to a forum during the day then we might find that we could make more profit for the company. The reason I do not contribute during the day is that I am slaving over company business at my desk and appear to be doing the work of subordinate lackies as well as my own duties. If you want to suceed in business you MUST realise that it is not a 9:00am to 5:00pm job. So less time wasting and more productive work or heads will role. I also expect you to take this attitude with the staff within your department or they could also be in for a rude awakening.

Typical MD attitude here, thinks everybody not working, has he not heard of multitasking quite popular nowadays.

I think they have already been sewn on with the extra weight now with the Bronze pips; he will not be able to move around so much, i.e. from his desk!!

So really poor excuses for not posting do you not think Plotter? Liz

I couldnt agree more he seems to have some sort of distraction I dont know if he is still fixating about 'the beach'nudge nudge.

Given the various threads regarding smoking issues I am getting more and more confident that the future of the business is rosy.Talking about other threads can we try and keep Frank away from our business as he seems hell bent on having arguments with just about anyone.

Have no fear Plotter no arguments on this topic much toooooooo big now.

I feel you could be right things are looking brighter,

Liz

Talking of Studland Beach - the only toilet facility is near the car park area. The beach is over two miles long - you lot haven't even given it a thought about the possibilities of erecting portable loos and shower facilities at strategic intervals along the beach. Also they could be adapted to act as wind/sun shelters as nature dictates. There, it only goes to prove that I am the thinking man around here and you lot have devious fantisies of the nudist area of the beach. Those who speak loudets must be embarressed and regret that they cannot enjoy the same facility as the naturists. I am not a naturist and have no desire to be one but if it is within your interest then why not go for it. So in conclusion stop belly aching and get back to work.

Now Colin, come on tell the truth, the last thing on your mind whilst on holiday were loos and showers for the Company, as for Wind/Sun breakers more like Rain Breakers needed.

Now what are you waffling on about , who's belly aching.

P.S Now that's cleared that up, how was your new van?

Plotter my knowledge of the beach is what I obtained approx 13 years ago - I have not been back on the beach since. Liz I did not think of this whilst on holiday, I thought of it after reading the postings between yourself and Plotter having a go at my person.

Thank you for asking about the caravan it was brilliant - would never even consider going back to a fixed bed model. As far as the weather was concerned we were very fortunate as we did not have any rain during the day at all - most days were sunny but breezey with a few overcast but dry days. We had rain during the night but it cleared up by morning. Overall it was a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable two weeks.

Now Plotter shall we give Colin the benefit of the doubt here, regarding thinking of loos and showers whilst not away to "the Beach" or do I recall the mentioning of this whilst I was away, personally I think porky pies myself, personally I would have gone to Sandbanks beach.

Glad you had a relaxing holiday Colin and weather was kind to you, also glad you like your new van, still not sure whether I would have got rid of the fixed bed, but there again personal choice, maybe because my vans I have owned never have had fixed bed, I might be disappointed, who knows, one day perhaps. Liz

Liz first of all it is Studland beach not Sandbanks - Sandbanks is a very expencive area of Poole and there would be all hell let loose if the naturists were to be seen on their area of beach.

Now to a more serious point. As far as the fixed bed is concerned we had a four berth van and whilst in north Wales there was only my wife and self. We had the porch awning and it was great - no worries regarding making the bed at night. When in Devon we had the grandchildren with us and our daughter. Even though we had a full awning the restricted circulation space within the van was very limited and would not be suitable for four adults as we were on top of each other. This is our only gripe regarding the fixed bed for a family van.

My Dear Colin, Loosen the Bronze Pips slightly and read again my post, I did say "the beach" meaning Studland beach, I said I would have gone to Sandbanks both beaches I do know, as I lived in Poole,Dorset.

I understand not much room for 4 adults in a fixed bed model, but beings only hubby and self would be using van, I think a fixed bed model would be more suitable to us, although our Lunar Clubman has a very good layout, end bathroom, dining area, lounge area, so pleased you like your van though. Liz

Hi Plotter, Perhaps Colin knows why it's so expensive, I know whilst living in Poole, that Studland Beach was known to be partly nudist beach and also Sandbanks was very expensive area, perhaps Colin knows.

Fed up with all this rain, better weather down here on Saturday, but back to normal Sunday, so the weather man said.

Plotter - Liz has resigned from the company for her own reasons. She has confided in me as MD and I respect her confidentiality. This means that as I am working to my full capacity, you are going to be responsible for both your original duties and those undertaken by Liz. There will be no form of protestation from you as my GOLD PIPS outrank any form of junior ranking you may have. Sorry lad either get on with it or get out of it - the choice is yours. Incidently should you go you will not be entitled to any form of severence payment as you have insufficient service of employment under existing Government legislation to make a claim. I am however willing to review your salary in the light of the extra duties you are expected to undertake.
