Hi, has anyone stayed at Camp Paris Est Le Trembay near Paris. We are travelling down to the Dordogne and do not want to stray to much from the route. We have stayed at Des 4 Vent before but don't want to go that much off route. Any suggestions would also be appreciated. I look forward to your replies. Helen.

Dont know about the site you are asking about but have used Rambouillet twice in the last 2 years by the n10 south of Paris Camping Huttopia Rambouillet (formerly the Municipal site) Easy access to the A10 and then to the A20 to the Dordogne

Takes us about 4 hours from Calais to there, nice site by a lake with bar restaurant and refurbished wash/shower area

Have stayed at Le Tremblay International several times. Excellent site for visiting Paris. Free bus to Metro (tourist ticket can be bought on site)and 20 minutes from Paris Centre. Metro also connects to Disneyland Paris. Unfortunately not well signposted from motorway and you need to keep your eye on road names in side streets to guide you there. All services provided, hedged pitches. Ideal if you are visiting Paris.

Just to say we stayed 2 nights at Camping Huttopia Rambouillet last year. We used it because it is only a short drive to Versailles, but the site was a real bonus.

Forgot to say we were on our way back from the Dordogne. The position of the site means you don't have to go too close to paris unless you want to.
