Poolsbrook or Firs Caravan Club Site

We are going to Derbyshire in May and usually go to Elvaston Castle Caravan Site but it is full. We have three dogs and I was wondering if anyone has been to either of these sites and would be able to let me know which one would be best for dogs.

We have stayed at Poolsbrook.

New site so will be even better when trees etc grown more.

Plenty of nearby walks including round the lakes.

Chesterfield canal not much to see locally at the moment.( I mean the canal near Stavely)

Really enjoyed Chesterfield particularly on a Market Day.

We then went on to Castleton.
