Poor Quality suncamp poles

A word of warning about suncamp awning poles, I bought a suncamp strand awning and the annex and the entrance porch, on the second outing a fiber glass pole in both the annex and the entrance porch gave out and snapped. SUNCAMP WARRANTY DOSE NOT COVER THE POLES. I could understand if they where older or the awning was put up on more occasions but the second outing?? they claim I over stressed them Again if i did overstress on the annex causing a breakage i think I would have been more careful when putting up the entrance porch. Buyer beware
 
We had a son camp 6 years ago.
Excellent, value but not 9verly robust.
I'm sure ours came with a spare black long pole.just in case.
 
Ignore the warranty. The Sale of |Goods Act requires the goods to be of merchantable quality and if the poles broke on the second outing they were not. Go back and quote the act to the dealer as your contract is with them and your rights are against them.
