If your "comment" was intended for Steve, you should have posted it using the "comment" facility...

i too, thought you were having a go at Danny, or it could have been euro lauding his fabulous wealth.

anyway, steve seemed to me to be only expressing a perfectly legitimate point of view and not seeking to antagonise anyone. It's not for anyone to tell anyone else to shut up in such an aggressive manner, just because the view's are refuted...
Collene - please grow up

What it costs is not important. You don't buy cars like that, and indeed throw in a couple of X5s without being very, very wealthy by most people's standards. I've no problem with that - good luck to you, but people who tell everyone else about their lavish spending are indeed "lauding" it...

Well, we don't have a new van and don't change cars every year like others. I could still be working and earning quite ggod money preventing someone else from doing my job but choose not to.

We could live in a huge house but choose not to, we live in the caravan a few months a year, 5 star hotel is "lauding" it, what we do is our choice and I'm not going to say I drive a Mondeo and KA sport when we don't.

The sad thing is we went round the Off Road course at Billing with Land Rover Experience in a new RR. But what was more fun!

The other Off-Road course in my friends Series 3.

And all due respect to your TD5 Steve but could I just mention that it took a Series 1 almost as old as I am (and older that you Steve!) to pull you out of the tractor ruts this Easter?

Modern technology is awsome - but sometimes the simple stuff does the job just as well.

But I too will be queing up to try the new - just to compare!

Tut, tut...fortunately I have broad shoulders and am very hopeful I will never grow up, I might keep telling people to shut up all the time...

Ah, but it took a td5 to pull the 110 and the RR clasic out first and make the hole big enough to get stuck in.

Anyway, if you don't get stuck, your not trying hard enough

euro

If you have it, enjoy it. Its no good sat in the bank on the day you die!

Providing I can fit some wine in for the meet and no one gets upset you will be very welcome Steve.

Ah! Russell and Alan never mentioned that!!!!!!!!!!!!

All i have is my pictures of a really nice TD5 being pulled out by a Series 1!!!.

It's true - every picture tells a story.

(Still say any Series Vehicle is FAR more fun than a coil sprung one any day - unless you want to do 80mph plus on the M27 that is)
