After positioning the van with the mover, the rollers wouldn't retract off the tyres electrically (have wound them off the tyre for now). The battery was low (11.5V) and charging didn't help so it's been replaced with a new one. This has not overcome the problem.
Powrtouch helped on the phone but I cannot find the fault and need to look at it over the weekend so I can return the van to storage.
I understand the feed to the actuators goes direct from the battery to the mover itself without engaging components in the control box, although I think the wiring does go through a terminal block in the box. Power must go through the toggle switch in the battery box which activates the rollers on and off the tyres, or does this switch pull in a relay? Also, how can I check the circuits through form the battery, through the toggle switch in the battery box, to the actuator? I have a volt/resistance meter available.
Any tips / pics really appreciated.
