Hi there. I am very interested in taking out Adac insurance for my holiday in Belgium this year and my 3 month trip to Italy next year. It all seems very good on their website-- can you tell me what isn't covered? Also is it good for use in the UK or should I keep my Green flag insurance. Hope you can help. Nigel
 
The ADAC insurance offers a pretty comprehensive breakdown coverage throughout Europe, including your home country, (some items are even covered worldwide). However, this only applies to their 'Plus' membership - the regular membership is much more restricted and only covers Germany. I translated their list of items covered in the 'Plus' membership in the following thread, so there's no need to repeat everything here again:

You will note, however, that it is not a health insurance, so you will still need to take out separate insurance in case you need to see a doctor while abroad.
