Hi all.
I am hoping someone who may know what the issue is with the rear towing lights on our caravan.
I have attached photos of our issue, as I don't know how to put a video on here.

It looks as though you may have lost an earth - and given that your pictures are of the offside it s most likely that the missing earth is on the nearside.
It would be helpful if you could explain exactly what the lights are doing in the pictures - you know do but we don't.

As with Woodentop, most road lighting issues boil down to corroded wire terminals in the light fittings, or poor connections in the towing plugs and sockets.

And likewise, the pictures tell us nothing, as we don't know what you were expecting them to do, or how you think they are misbehaving.

When the side lights are on, the indicators work fine but when you put the foot on the brake pedal in the tow car, the fog lights come and the side lights and indicators go off, then
when you release the brake pedal the side lights and indicators are working fine again. This happens on both sides, got a new plug for the caravan today and going to replace the old one with the new one, hoping this may sort the problem out.

Check to see if there is a lead attached to the positive terminal on the battery that has either one or three fuses if there is check to make sure that they all have a good connection. If you have ECS box fitted then if it loses power it can cause the issues you are describing.
