just picked up my new series 6 Bailey wyoming had a good look around and notice on some areas there seems to bit more than normal of sealant around the windows. is there an easy way to remove the surplus sealant?

Tony, it is best to not interfere with the excess sealant as in trying to remove any will almost certainly disturb the remainder, breaking the already formed seal, and causing a water ingress point in the future.
The only time it can be removed safely is when first applied before it sets.
