Replacement Caravan Windows

Disaster!!! We are in Spain soaking up the winter sun, windows open, with a lovely breeze blowing through the van, then WHAM!! a big gust of wind came and ripped the front window upwards, breaking the stays and seperating the double glazing, never seen anything like it, phoned Miriad in uk and they want £256+vat, £21.50postage(only to a uk address) does anyone know of a breakers where we may be able find one cheaper? Please.

The van is a 1998 Abbey Spectrum 419, and it's the front middle window.

Any and All help will be Gratefully Accepted.

Jeff.

Be careful with some of the local food, paella sometimes has this effect - particularly if mixed with a few bottles of San Miguel.

More seriously if you have a copy of one of the magazines look in the back or try googling "UK caravan dismantlers"

Jeff,

Try:-

www.caravanparts.net

www.caravanbreakers.net

www.eeco-ltd.co.uk ( replacement windows )

Hope these help.

Jeff,

Just had a look at

www.ukcampsite.co.uk

and if you have a look under the heading in blue: Caravan & Motorhome you will see Breakers....listed by county.Good luck.
