I'm sorry too for hijacking your thread Colin. From reading most (not all) of the posts just now, it seems I was the first one to challenge Jason and it's all gone downhill since.
In todays PC world one cannot mention midgets etc. no more than one can mention the word geriatric because of it's now derogatory undertones.
How many women at home in labour would be pleased to see a male midwife attend? I think not many. I might be wrong but I think that was the point Jason was trying to get across.
