I've discovered a panel on the rear of our Burstner IT 585 had become a nice area for moss to grow 🤔

I think it's designed as a drip rail, directing water to the sides, away from the rear window and fridge vents.

Are there mild biocides products that can be applied that prevent algae & moss build up without damaging paint?
 
Anti bacterial hand wash is good for window runners and other grooves plus it's fine on paintwork. It won't cure the problem but it will slow the process.
Parking position is another. If your van is on a north facing driveway it's in cooler, moister air longer. if at all possible try changing the aspect.
