Route to Sandrigham

Best route to Sandrigham CC from Macclesfield.

Last year went via Chesterfield Spalding route, all A roads but not the best, have heard may be better going by Leek / Asbourne and picking up the A50 and then A52, used to travel the A50 regular on my way to Charnwood through work looked better for towing, any thoughts.

On the whole, I think I would tend to stick with the route you used before: the A50/A52 might get you stuck in traffic around Derby and Nottingham and the A52 between Nottingham and Grantham is a real accident blackspot. I don't think the improvement in roads is significal enough to make up for those considerations. The A17 from Newark down to King's Lynn might be worth thinking about as an alternative to going down to Spalding - not a better road, but perhaps quieter one.

Thanks Chrissie will do what we did last year, will take our time got all day to get their, if l leave at 9am should be their for 2 ish.
