We are looking at getting one with approx 30k miles so are there any high cost services around that milaeage that we need to consider.

The high cost of the Rover service and cam belt due, and the fact that the car was getting old and did not perform well for towing was the deciding factor to spend some money...just wanted to make sure there were no nasty surprises with the Xtrail, especially as we are not buying new?

Thanks

I think it depends on which model you buy as Nissan offer at least 3 engine variants. I gather they are well liked but the central dashboard does not appeal to all. Something with 30k miles with full service history is unlikely to have any major problems. Personally I would avoid anything with a fitted tow bar as it could have been used to pull Dobbin in a great big box trailer.
