Rowston Holiday Park in Pembrokeshire

Has any one been?

Whats it like?

They say its a 6amp set up.Most of the sites I have been on are 10 or 16.

Does anyone know what I can safely run up to 6 amps?

Help Please

Thanks in advance

Hello Ken,me, my husband and our two children stayed there for the weakend at easter and the electric does run on six amps, we found that we could only use one thing at a time eg. if we wanted to use the kettle to make a cup of tea, we could,nt use any other electrical appliance at the same time. We found the holiday park very clean and tidy the showers and toilets were also very clean you can only get access to these with a code which you get from the reception when you book in. There is no shop on site, but there is a Londis shop just a few hundred yards down the road which also has a post office as well.

Tenby is about two miles away and Saundersfoot is also nearby. The beaches in Tenby are lovelly and the sea is really clean. There is access to a beach from the site, but if you have young children with a pushchair it is a very long walk down hill and a bit of a trek back.We found it better to use the beaces in Tenby.

All in all we had a lovely time and would definately use this site again.

I hope you have a lovely holiday.

Julie.
