Our village Street Party crew were already on the boil last week with a news letter about a party. We'll do an extra day of charity work at our local aninal charity shelter.

I am neither a royalist nor do i have strong feelings toward a Republic
Merely believe we are all equal.
Do like our leading royals although when younger I might not have been as fond of them, but they do try and besides they dont have the freedom that we have to just get up and go.So i believe they do work hard and represent us all in a good light.
There has been remarks made of this Bishop, OK a little rude of him, but it is a free country, and if one reads between the lines, I do fear for this new royal couple, we have an wicked tabloid press who can turn easily and be quite nasty and intrusive.And that's on a nice day.
So they need all the luck they can get...

Why on earth can't the media leave them alone?
Only today there was pics of Kate "going shopping to Waitrose". Who cares where she shops? They have no privacy at all. Does the media believe we need to know this fact?
If the media didn't pay for the papparazi's pics they wouldn't hound them.

hi, the millions generated for this country by the royals, where is it. i aint seen any of it. who's paying for the loss of productivity and wages for the millions who are getting the day off. ray

I wish them all the best of luck for the future but I hope that if we have to have another King that Wills gets the job now he's marrying not his father.
The wedding was also big news in Australia but as there are so many other ethnic groups there now the British Monarchy is not so popular. I think it may take another ten years but they will become a republic the same as we should.
