Rust Spots forming on rear panels

Just to update this,

I have asked why there is rust forming but no answer.,.however!

Caravan is booked in to the dealership to have new rails fitted on both sides of the caravan, plus a few extra snags.

I hope the dealership can provide you an answer when they have the caravan back. What is the issue with the rails on the sides?

The Rails are the parts which are being replaced, which have the rust on them

Thought you had a problem with awning rails as well as the “ rusty” parts.

Looking about the caravan, it's amazing what areas you miss when looking over a shiny new Caravan.

Check out the state of the job of joining the rails, which we are being replaced, if I had fitted that I would have felt embarrassed sending it out like that

As you can see on the left top , another small rust spot forming on middle rail

Like you I would be embarrassed to offer such a pathetic joint. The lower part of the photo doesn’t even show a parallel gap. It’s not even squared off. Just shows price isn’t a guarantee of quality in some makes of caravan.
