Sad Day for a caravanner

Thankfully no one was injured. I thought about travelling back from Leicester on the M5 as the Fosse had some events on and the other option via Towcester and Bicester had F1. But I try and avoid M5 at weekend holiday times. Too many leisure vehicles !

Looks bad. I cannot see what the cause was but looks to have been going up hill so possibly something other than loading.

I dont live very far from here.
Looks like they were descending the rather long hill heading towards Clevedon.
Very easy to build up speed here with a caravan if your not careful.
Theres 2 banks either side of motoway for a while and then it opens out.
Maybe speed...overtaking a lorry....gust of wind where it opens out???
Glad no-one was hurt though

Yes similar to the Bath junction on M4 which has signs for crosswinds but has also had some accidents with towing vehicles.

Was towing down the M5 Sunday 14/07, saw the usual mis-aligned TV antennas but I saw at least 3 open Skylights, with one being a fully open sideways opening Heki... this may be indicative of a lack of care and attention.
