Not sure which model you mean but I have a Santa Fe CDX new model. It is a nice car. I have had Fronteras for years and did not quite know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Solo it is excellent - quiet, roomy, economical. And with 5 year warranty! Towing is also very good. If I had a complaint it would be that gearing is a bit high so that you need to stir it up a bit. But the torque is there. Personally I don't like front wheel drive cars [I never have] and with the van on it is too easy to get the "torque steer" effect if you accelerate hard in second comimg out of a roundabout.

Overall I am very impressed. I have just returned from a round trip with the van from Preston to edinburgh to Bognor Regis and back and overall the fuel consumption was 28.6. Much of it was at a constant 60ish on the motorways on cruise control, and of course "unhooked" mileage touring round.

hope this helps
