Saracen Hitchlock - That metal 'mushroom' shaped thingy

Hi again,

Can anyone tell me where that metal 'mushroom' shaped thingy goes on the Saracen Hitchlock, the instructions arent that clear or maybe its my head that isn't !!! It will be used unhitched.

That mushroom shaped thingy goes in the tow bar hitch to stop any one using a small tow ball to steal your pride and joy.
