We can thoroughly recommend Ardmir point just a couple of miles north of Ullapool.

A basic but well kept site right on the edge of the loch with spectacular views. They have a good web site too.

There's an excellent near the harbour in Ullapool where the scottish steaks melt in your mouth and the prices are not too steep.

From memory theres 2 sites in Gairloch. the first one is in Gairloch village, the 2nd is a few miles past it on the road to Melvaig,called 'The Sands' or something similar.I would recommend this one, especially if you have kids as its by a sandy beach,
