Hi all i have some light scratches on one side of my caravan whats the best polish to remove them and should i use a polishing machine.

I would have thought that the paint on caravans is too thin /soft to tolerate machine polishing.

Hi all i have some light scratches on one side of my caravan whats the best polish to remove them and should i use a polishing machine.

I used a Meguirs light automotive polishing compound applied gently by hand. Then finished it with Autoglym super resin polish, and lastly sealed it with Autoglym extra shine protection.

When we had our caravan i used a Mer MASUP1 The Ultimate Polish it remove some micro scratches but also brought it to a lovely shine

I have used Care-a-van polish on my van sides when needed. The paint is microns thick so I would only ever use light hand pressure and nothing mechanical. I have Mer and Autoglym in my kitbag too! Mer I can use diluted as a shampoo and neat as polish.
