Shower & Water pressure????????????

Hi

Pretty new to caravanning,

Just wondering about my water system.

I have a coachman mirage 1997, the problem is the shower is really poor, the water bearly squirts out at you.

Are all caravans of this age like this or just mine.

It`s the only caravan I have ever been in so I don`t know if this is normal.

The water system is a carver where the pump goes outside in the aqua roll.

Someone please help, sick of having a nice shower in the caravan but having to use site showers.

Stuart, you will never get as good pressure in a van as you do in mains fed systems.

The pressure is totally dependant on the pump pressure and the height of the shower head in relation to the aquaroll

hi stuart two suggestions which may help if your water pressure is ok at basi nand sink taps check that there is not a build up of deposits in the shower head u can take this off and wash it out then u could try a slightly more powerful whale pump, u can buy these at access. shops and they are easy to fit yourself, u can keep your old one as a standby in case of emergencies.

have a look to see if the supply pipes to the shower head are not blocked or kinked in any way
