gcds50,hello, we like Marfit Head Farm just outside Pickering. Working dairy farm with toilets and showers and very good for families. Children can interact with the animals and go watch the milking.Very easy access for the bigger units and large pitches, We paid £10 a night with ehu. Will be going back in a couple of weeks.Good satellite signal too!!!! Himself lurves his Real Madrid matches!! In the Caravan CL section. Read reviews on UK Campsites online.

Hi
I would recommend you look at a CL near Pately Bridge. It is Firtree, Highfield Farm, Stripe Lane, Hartwith. Details are in the CC Handbook, entered under Pately Bridge. It is on high ground with great views east over the Vale of York. It has two lawned fields with hookups. It is easily accessible off a very quiet road. Owners are very friendly and helpful. It is convenient for Fountains Abbey, Knaresborough etc. We had a great few days there in June this year.
Cheers
Paul
