Hi All,

We are planning a trip to the Lake District for October half term. We are looking for a site with reasonable access, EHU and views would be nice.

There are so many to choose from and some of the CC sites seem a bit expensive.

Many Thanks

Windermere C&CC site. Not much of a view but brilliant location just off the main road to windermere through woodland. Usual good facility's and pitches. EHU available on grass or hand standing. We live not too far from this site and spend a lot of weekends there. Take a look on C&CC website.

Cheers, Dan.

Hi

For access, facilities on your doorstep and views to die for, Keswick C&CC site is excellent, being right on the shore of Derwent Water.

Keswick is a five minute stroll away.

Try 'The Quiet Site' at Ullswater - nice site, good views, and best of all it takes Camping Cheques (www.campingcheque.co.uk) at October half term, which means a pitch costs only
