Hi all, we are having dificulty finding a nice, quiet peaceful site on the Isle of white, any ideas please?

We like peace and quiet, electric hook up, nice showers and toilet block, peace and tranquility, with good facilities, (not large commercial sites)

We are returning to our favourite Isle of Wight site, this is Southlands, close to Shanklin.

I know that it will tick all your boxes, it is a medium sized site but is not commercialised. No pool, clubhouse, supermarket, just a spotless, friendly site.

If you Google Southlands you will find it.

There is a newish site here called Whitefield Forest touring park, it has been getting good reviews. Google the site and website. Southlands is a nice site too. I would avoid one called Roebeck it looks a nice site...but they don't show you the 2 scrapheaps next to it. Again would be a good idea to google that one if you are considering it.

Is there anything in particular you want to do on the island?
