Can anyone recommend the best club site in Cheddar. Preferably near a nice pub - I seem to remember one of the sites is near a local football club.

I can recomend a nice C Club CL site ten mins walk from the town centre and a hundred yards from the reservoir ,and there is a park and club football field just behind the site ,the CL pitches are really large they have electric hook up and your waste water is piped into the large hedge between the site and football field ,we couldnt get into the club site at Easter but we went around to have a look, and when we saw the very narrow approach road and the churned up mud on the site we where real glad we were staying on this CL ,the address is Mrs W Curtis Clinton HSE Sharpham Rd Cheddar BS27 3DR, Tel 01934 743369,

We spent last week end at caravan club site at Cheddar, the shower block is newly refitted to Club standards,next to football club,and there was a lot of noise at well past midnight, easy walking distance to pub supermarket etc. Approach road is narrow and no arrivals after 8pm or before 12 noon but we like the site. C and CC site is a few miles out of Cheddar near village called Priddy, nice site but when we looked a lot of the pitches were sloping. The CC site is members only.
