Hi Chris nice site big pitches ,been going there over 10 years ,keep away from the top where they have the rally & canoe shed are ,i thought the world cup was being played there the last time went ,if you look on there fishing site you will see a few of the fish i have caught from the river ,also if you have children the river banks are steep ,and after heavy rain the river is very fast flowing
 
Hi Chris - we have been to Lucksall twice and can thoroughly recommend it. Site was quiet both times we were there allthough we went in the school holidays, Staff in reception/shop are very pleasant and helpful. We travelled up from the Ross roundabout off the M50 - it was a B classified road but, although twisty, was very easy going. If you go there have a great time.

Stayed at Poston Mill just outside Hereford earlier this year. Excellent site with good facilities.

An alternative if Lucksall is full.
