Don't miss out on visiting North Ledaig CC Site, just north of Oban - over the Connell Bridge. With breathtaking views from a waterfront site looking out to Mull, this takes some beating. There is always plenty to do and see in the area, Oban being a bustling port.

Another good location is Culloden CC Site outside Inverness, giving you a great base for touring around that area. Another tidy and clean site, but TV reception may need an external antenna as the on-board ones can be unsatisfactory. Enquire when you get there, as can be purchased locally if needed.

You can now plug your own co-ax cable into the electric bollards for decent TV reception. Cable available to purchase from reception if necessary

The A836 is 2 lane, and fine for towing. They have recently upgraded the road between Melvich & Strathy from asingle track. Also in Melvich there is a small campsite next to the Halladale Inn. Lovely owners and good home cooked food all day. The site is open all year, although during the worst of the winter weather the water is turned off, but the owners are able to fill your water containers up for you.
