Having seen what you have got I never see anything about Skoda Octavia 2.0 140bhp dsg which I have, its a' 55 plate now and we have towed about 6000 miles towing before moving to m/h, now back with Pegasus 462 2011 model. So any one got simular and how do you find it?.
 
Hi, we have a Skoda Octavia '55 plate. 2.0 Tdi DSG Elegance Estate, we tow an Elddis Avante loaded to 1300, I drive using the manual gears when towing and have no problems, increase tyre pressure as advised in the cars manual and keep nose weight below 75Kg. The MTPLM of the Avante is 1360Kg, the cars maximum tow weight is 1400 KG but I feel more comfortable with the weight around 1300Kg. Good car and good tow vehicle provided you follow the rules.
