Skoda Superb 170bhp Estate

I'm thinking of changing my VW Passat and had a look in my nearest Skoda dealer.

I was very impressed with the new Superb Estate on our test drive.

Has anyone got one of these cars, if so how would you rate it for everyday use and as a towcar?

I seem to recall that the Superb saloon came top, or high up in the CC or PC awards last year, so I think that the estate should be good too. PC plans an estate test soon.
 
It did, and having driven and towed for a short distance with an estate recently (albeit the 140 version), it was Superb! If it were me, I'd go for it without hesitation.
 
I have an Audi A4 Avant with the (I assume) same 170 PS engine and as far as the engine is concerned can tell you that it will tow with ease. 4 wheel drive would be better to be honest as it is a lot of power to put through front wheels when towing but you just have to develop the knack of feeding in the power.
