Well, as retirement approaches and with it the loss of the company car, currently used to tow the caravan, I've been toying with the idea of replacing it with an American type "Day Van" as the general runabout and the tug for the caravan.
But, lately I've been leaning towards getting a small 2 or 3 berth panel van motor home, probably based upon a Transit, Merc or Peugeot panel van, as we both agree that to have our own toilet facilities etc, would suit us better than say a VW type motor home.
I still want to keep the caravan (well at this stage anyway) so the motor home would be used as the towing vehicle, and as a base for the day out trips & the occasional overnights,
My requirements would be that the towing vehicle would have a tow capacity of a maximum of 2000kg, but 1800 kg would suffice (I've been towing for the best part of 40 years, so I'm comfortable with a 100% match.
Any ideas, suggestions etc would be greatly appreciated
