Sorento Mud Flaps

Some time ago some one posted a message about the Kia Sorento throwing up quite a lot of muck onto the caravan while towing.

This I can confirm is very true. If it rains or returning to the storage site the front of the caravan gets filthy. I have contacted my Kia dealer to see if they do a extended mud flap for the rear, but they don't! The posting I saw mentioned using the mud flaps off a Frontera! Can any one remember this posting and was it a matter of replacing or extending.

Thanks Rob

P.S I have done a P.C search with no result

Hi Rob,

The type of mud flaps you are needing are Vauxhall Frontera B.

You need to remove the Sorento flaps.they are held in place by self tap screws. It's a fairly simple job to fit them using the same screws and holes.....with a little bit of cosmetic trimming of the new flaps to fit the wheel arches.Hope this helps you.

PS.

There is also the web-site www.kia forums.com which might be able to help.

Hi Maureens Hubby,

Thanks for the info, purchased the said flaps last week and fitted them yesterday. I did not remove the Sorento flaps, just trimmed for maximum effect and looks. With the weather we have had over the past few days I don't know the out come but I am sure it can't be any worst.

Many thanks again.

Rob
