South of France recommendations

Hi.
Going to the south of France next Yr beginning September. First time in about 7 yrs. So looking for recommendations for a site that has touring pitchs and statics/ chalets. Needs to have beach access and be close to a town/ village. Dont have any young kids so dont need the clubs but that's not to say we wouldn't use a family type site. Open to any suggestions Cheers and Tia.
 
Be careful, many sites in France start closing mid-September onwards, even if their web site says otherwise. We wanted to stay on a site for a couple of nights at the end of September. We turned up on the 30th (municipal site) and the man said they closed that day for winter - but since he would be on site we could stay for two nights - this despite all info and signage said they closed mid October.
Rubbish site anyway!

We had a nice stay at Camping Lestap in Albine. It was run by Brits, and it’s a small site, lovely pool, small bar. Had statics too, but only a couple. Village has bakery, grocers and a number of nice eateries. Close to Mazamet for bigger shops and a lovely town. Beautiful area easy for Beziers, coastal resorts and Carcasonne and historic castles of Cathars. Worth a look. See UKCampsites.co.uk. I know we went in early September as we celebrated our 40th in Carcasonne. 👍

Ok thanks for that but we'd be stopping for 13 nights from the 1st.

Hotels do that too. We drove to Beaune and into the Jura. We didn’t particularly want to stay in towns but in a number of areas village or rural hotels and guest houses were closed. You then find yourself starting to look for accommodation in the early afternoon which compresses your day.
 
Camping le Haras has everything you want, except beach access. It's about 5km to the nearest beach which you could cycle to if you like cycling.
It's right a the southern end of France close to Spain and near Perpignan.
