Dealer phoned me today at 5.30 to say all ready except roofrack and ladder not arrived yet!! Tow ball electrics light guards etc all fitted, He's read me the email saying it will be with them by the morning (apparently their deliveries come evening/overnight???) so all being well should be ready for 10.00 tomorrow morning!! We've not told the girls it's ready so they'll get a surprise at school run time. Insurance refund due of nearly £60 (sorry) and mayday phoned and sorted. Rexton cleaned and cleared so full steam ahead, let you know how it goes in the morning!!

Defenders are the original Stealth machine - covered in mud so you can't tell them from their background.

I am pleased to see that you new Defender has arrived. Last Friday I discussed a possible purchase of a 61 reg (Puma) 110 XS SW with a southern LR dealer and the person I spoke to said he wasn't too sure about the car I was interested in and he'd get someone to ring me back. That was Friday morning and thus far it's been a deafening silence. Reading about your travails with the LR dealer and recalling why I sold my Disco 2 for a Kia it seems that LR dealers are not too customer orientated. Perhaps if I'd enquired about one of the 'bling' models I may have aroused more interest.
