Stover back to A30

We will be using Stover near Newton Abbot as a stopover for Cornwall next month.

What is the A382 like for towing?

I was thinking of using this from Stover as a direct route back to the A30 and on to Cornwall rather than going down the A38 and picking the A30 up after Bodmin.

Any thoughts?

Hi Ian,

The A382 is an "A" road by name only! It cuts through some lovely countryside but parts of it are only single lane and it's definitely not a route to take your caravan!

The A38, on the other hand, is an ideal road and will take you all the way to Bodmin, where you can pick up the A30 again if you want to.
