Hi, does anyone know if a 1997 Subaru 2.5 Legacy estate auto petrol with 67000 miles on clock would be any good for towing a Swift corniche 2 berth.

Dave the car is fine, but you must have a oil cooler fitted to the gearbox I cooked the transmission on a 2.2 litre Legacy many years ago. it is not worth risking it, the Subaru trans is about
 
Hi, my daughter hasa a V reg and its a great car. Also it is beetr than most cars for floods as its air inlet sits just above the lip of the bonnet so compared to Vectras Mondeos etc the Subaru can transit deeper water than your normal car.
