The site is great but it doesn't go back far enough as I forgot to mention that it is a 1997 R model 2.5 Auto Legacy Outback that I have, so if anyone else can let me know where to look I'd be greatful.

Although there was a facelift between your 1997 model and the 2002 listed on the site that Alan refers to, I think it would be fairly safe to assume that its kerbweight would be about the same, in other words, around 1450kg. For all intents and purposes that should be accurate enough.
